We are now offering boarding to a small number of people and their horses.We run a smaller facility so no one is ever crowded out and each horse gets personal attention each day.Let me tell you a little bit about myself I have over 16 years experience in training,handling and breeding, I have spent several years studying horse health and first aid. All horses are inspected daily to make sure they are well and sound, pasture horses as well as stall horses. You are welcome here at all times to ride and visit and just be with your horse. Our stalls are made for the comfort of the horse not for space, each stall is 12x12 and we have a few that are 12x13. Daily turn out is also a must!
We also provide pasture board. Next year(2006) we will be equipped with foaling facility for out side horses as well as residents.
We also have vinyl fencing and wood fence turn out areas. All fencing is inspected on a regular basis you will not find barbed wire or any other kind of wire fencing on the grounds of this facility the safety of the horses is a top priority here.At this time we do not have a indoor riding arena but if all goes according to plan we will be putting one up in the spring. We do have a 60 Ft round pen available for your use and a 170 ft by 60 ft out arena.
You will never have to worry about your horse standing around in mud, all pastures and turn out areas are sand.
We are surrounded by beautiful riding area, state land is all around us over 500 acres and the rum river is just across the street with river bottom trails to ride on there are Bald Eagles, sand hill cranes, Humming birds, Fox Deer and other wild life is all around, and wow are they a sight to see gliding over head while you are out for a ride. The state land that boarders our facility does not allow motorized vehicles So may ride in peace.Our facility is 45 miles north of down town Minneapolis. Pick up and delivery available.
